XXS1500 Device


The XXS1500 device is the XXS1500 module in a case with passive cooling, not much bigger than a cigarette box. It is suitable for applications like universal, configurable router, firewall, VPN node, network audio broadcasting/recording gateway, and more. Compared to the CPU module the XXS1500 has additionally 16 frei programmable IOs and switchable 3.3V and 5V for the supply of external systems.

- 1 x USB Host (1.1)
- 2 x Seriell RS232
- 64 or 128 MByte SDRAM
- 16 MByte flash
- CompactFlash slot
- Stereo audio in & out (AC97-Codec on board)
- DSUB25 connector with 16 GPIOs, USB Device (1.1), reset, wakeup and software switchable 3.3V and 5V supply with 300 mA each.

The device module has a power consumption of 3-4 Watt maximum.

Linux and QNX with the corresponding GNU toolchains are supported directly, any Linux code is provided under GPL, a WindowsCE.NET-BSP will be available soon. Basically any OS supporting the MIPS32-archictecture will run on the XXS1500.
